A meeting of the new 2010 Board of Managers will follow immediately after the Annual meeting. Please note that this year the NYSBA meeting and our Academy meeting are taking place at the New York Hilton, 1335 Avenue of the Americas, in NYC. At this time, we will be approving committee assignments for the coming year. I will shortly be circulating an updated list. The general meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m. A meeting of the Board of Managers will take place prior to the general meeting at 4:30 p.m. Friday • Apr 30, 2010 Dinner Dance weekend Location: Association of the Bar of the City of New York, 42 West 44th Street in New York City On the weekend of April 30 through May 2, we have our Dinner Dance weekend. The CLE program, put together by Michael Stutman and Elliott Scheinberg, will take place at the Association of the Bar of the City of New York, 42 West 44th Street in New York City on Friday, April 30. On Saturday May 1, we will have our judicial round table in the morning, chaired by Bob Dobrish, to take place at the Cornell Club. And, as previously announced, I am particularly pleased that our dinner dance will take place on Saturday evening, May 1, 2010, at the Museum of Modern Art, 11 West 53rd Street, New York, New York. The space for our cocktail party and dinner is spectacular and we are being catered by Danny Meyer's group, Hudson Yards catering. In addition, our honoree is Justice Jeffrey Sunshine, someone who, as you all know, has worked tirelessly for the betterment of the practice of Family Law and who we are particularly pleased to be recognizing this year. I know you will all want to join me in doing so. Friday • Jun 04, 2010 Location: Turning Stone resort outside of Syracuse, New York On the weekend of June 4 through 6, we will be having our annual June retreat at the Turning Stone resort outside of Syracuse, New York. It is a beautiful location with much to do for all. As previously announced, this meeting will be held jointly with the meeting of the Executive Committee of the Family Law Section of the NYSBA. Further details will follow, but please keep the dates open.
